How a design-hotel group stopped renting its audience.

Stunning rooms, a leaking funnel. We rebuilt the first impression and took the bookings back from the middlemen.

The Challenge

Where attention was leaking.

Maison Verre's properties were extraordinary in person and anonymous online. The booking journey leaked at every step, slow galleries, generic copy, a reservation flow that felt like filing taxes. Guests discovered the magic only after they'd paid a platform for the privilege.

The Strategy

What we decided to build.

We designed the website as the first night of the stay. Atmosphere first, friction last: cinematic transitions, editorial storytelling per property, and a reservation reduced to three calm steps, so direct became the obvious way to book.

The Execution

How it came together.

  1. 01A property storytelling system, each hotel given its own scene, palette and rhythm within one house.
  2. 02A reservation flow cut from nine fields to three, with availability surfaced before commitment.
  3. 03A pre-stay content engine: itineraries, neighbourhood films, concierge notes.
  4. 04Performance engineering for sub-second loads on the galleries that do the selling.
